Corgi Classics’ old VW T2 bus became part of the Vanguards range in 2002 and is the only model to be ‘upgraded’ with a second improved casting in 2021.
This is a prototype from around 2001 but I’ve no idea whether it was considered as a Corgi Classic or a Vanguards. What I do know is that it was a hand made prototype offered as a competition prize in Model Auto Review Magazine. (Source & pictures Rowland Hill)
